HAWAIIAN LUAU CHICKEN   

Hawaiian Luau Ingredients:
  • Boneless chicken breast
  • Soy sauce
  • Pineapple juice
  • Betty Crocker's sweet and sour sauce
Hawaiian Luau Instructions :
Mix soy sauce and pineapple juice 1 to 1 in a measuring cup, pour over chicken, let stand 4 to 6 hours in refrigerator. Grill chicken until done. Heat sauce until it boils. Place chicken in dish and cover with hot sauce. Yummy ! Enjoy !

HAWAIIAN LUAU SWEET POTATOES   

Hawaiian Luau Ingredients :
  • 3 cans sweet potatoes, drained
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • Dash of cloves
Hawaiian Luau Instructions
Mash potatoes. Stir in pineapple, 2 tablespoons of the oil, 2 tablespoons melted butter, salt, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg. Turn into a 2 quart baking dish. Combine the remaining oil, butter with bread crumbs, brown sugar and cloves. Sprinkle over top of potato mixture and bake at 350 degrees until browned on top. Serve in mounds with ribs. Enjoy !

LUSCIOUS HAWAIIAN LUAU SALAD

Hawaiian Luau Ingredients  :
  • 1 pkg. presweetened cherry, strawberry or raspberry drink mix
  • 2 c. water or fruit juice
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1 can pineapple rings
  • Maraschino cherries
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 sm. can crushed pineapple
Hawaiian Luau Instructions
Add drink mix to 2 cups water; set aside. Dissolve sugar in warm water. Add corn syrup, lemon juice and drink mix. Freeze until firm around edges. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into frozen mix and combine thoroughly. Freeze until firm, stirring every 30 minutes. Place pineapple rings on salad plates. Top with scoop of sherbet. Spoon on crushed pineapple. Add cherry to each salad. Serve immediately. Yields 4 servings.
